Since 2022, UpStart Collective has been connecting founders with the resources, relationships, and community they need to build the next generation of incredible companies right here in Oregon.
This year has been one for the books. We moved into Portland's iconic Big Pink 🏢, expanded our footprint, and since March our community has doubled in size. What started as an idea to bring founders together has grown into one of the region's fastest growing startup communities.
With so much to celebrate, we're doing what we do best: opening our doors to the entire Portland startup ecosystem. 🍻
Join founders, investors, operators, community leaders, and friends as we raise a glass to four amazing years, celebrate the incredible companies being built here, and look ahead to what's next for Portland's startup community.

Demolicious is back! This monthly pitch event brings together founders and the community to learn about what is being built here and around Portland.
How this all works: If you are a founder, you will apply to pitch here. Don't worry. "Apply" simply means you want to pitch, but there's no real competitive process to be accepted. We just want to see what you're working on before we put you in front of a room full of people.
You will be given 3 minutes to pitch at the event.
The audience will be given a QR code to vote for their favorite pitch. The one with the most votes will go home with the Demolicious Championship belt.

After the Idea: What Comes Next?
A free workshop series for Portland founders
You have the idea. Now what?
After the Idea is a free ten-session workshop series at Upstart Collective, designed for founders at any stage of the idea, from napkin to early traction.
Each session covers one real problem founders face, in the order they face it: from communicating what you're building, to building the operations that run without you, to measuring what's actually working. Marketing systems is the framework. Business architecture is the point.
Session 2:
You have the idea. Now prove the problem is real. Don't be the founder who builds on assumption.
This session gives you the framework to find out if the problem you're solving actually exists outside your own head, and what to do if it doesn't.
This is not about tearing your idea down. It is about building it on something solid.
Every other Wednesday · 2 to 3pm

Drop in any time. Each session stands alone. You don't need to have attended previous sessions to get immediate value. A founder who attends all ten leaves with a complete operating system for how to build something that lasts.
